Valerie Low Chair

For Marie Michielssen, creating a piece of furniture always begins with a series of sketches on paper. She builds volumes with mathematical precision. The proportions must be perfect and adapted to the human body. For the Valerie low chair, she started with an elliptical base to which she added two rectangular planes, the seat and back forming a perfect angle for comfortable sitting. She chose lacquered steel so that Valerie could be used both indoors and outdoors. The optional seat cushion adds extra comfort. The fabric is woven and handcrafted in Belgium, and was chosen by Marie for its tactile effect. Valerie is available in three colors: white, gray or dark green. Matching cushions in white or grey.
