Osmo Chair

The Osmo chair is based on a classic typology of chairs found on hotel and restaurant terraces. Metal construction with a wooden seat and armrest ensures the optimum strength-comfort ratio required for extensive outdoor use, where the furniture is exposed to sun and salt. The expressive geometry of the bent-pipe construction defines the frame into which the profiled wooden seat and backrest are inserted. The characteristic angle of the chair’s front legs, together with the very wide, “cut” armrests, results in a biomorphology of the insect robots of science-fiction films.
