With a vision born of immoderate curiosity, Vincent Van Duysen always creates a global ambiance that imperceptibly blends architecture, interior decoration and design objects. This is also the approach he took in transforming Antwerp’s former military hospital into a hotel. For the terrace, he designed the August collection of the same name, a series of minimalist chairs and tables that effortlessly link the environment’s past with a modern interpretation. These are made of aluminum and available in black, sand or grey-green powder coatings. This makes them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The vast collection exudes the pure simplicity of the monastic life from which it draws its inspiration.
