Scala Acoustic Panels
Scala is a playful paraphrase of corrugated iron that simultaneously exploits the functionality of this form. “The inspiration came from the many houses in Iceland, where not only the roofs, but also the facades, are covered in corrugated iron. That’s how the idea of bringing it into the space came about,” explains award-winning designer Anya Sebton. The Scala’s sound-absorbing design is developed not only for visual reasons, but above all to contribute to a softer soundscape.
